Diego Quintero Cuello
Diego is a licensed attorney in Colombia (since 2018), who obtained his J.D. along with a Specialization in Commercial Law from Universidad de Los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia), and a Master of Law (LL.M.) focused on Media, Entertainment, and Technology Law and Policy from UCLA School of Law. As an LL.M., he served as co-vice president of the UCLA Cannabis Law Association and was a member of both Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law Associations. Prior to starting his LL.M.,
Diego was a senior associate and active member of the Intellectual Property team at Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría (“PPU”) for more than four (4) years, a top-tier firm with a strong presence in Colombia, Chile, Perú, and Spain. While working at PPU, Diego represented renowned clients in diverse IP and regulatory transactional-related matters. Diego has also written multiple articles on both IP and regulatory-related matters which have been published by top-notch and recognized journals and magazines in Colombia.
Upon graduation from his LL.M. at UCLA School of Law, Diego has been working as a Foreign Attorney at Rossi P.C. and is in the process of obtaining his license as an attorney in the state of California. Diego assists, among other things, with negotiations and drafting of producer agreements, recording and publishing deals, touring agreements, and diverse influencer, merchandising, and appearances agreements for both national and international clients.
